I don't have faith in government, but I have faith in Obama. I don't trust politicians, but I trust that Obama will do the right thing. Because even though he won't be able to tell us everything, I know in my gut that he'll do his best to make sure we take as many steps as possible in the right direction.
He might not be able to tell us the truth about JFK, Area 51 or 9-11, but I know that if he can, he will. I know he'll make mistakes, but I know that at least he'll be honest when he looks in the mirror in the morning.
So to those that say he doesn't have enough experience... If he didn't have enough experience, he would have never beat the Clintons. And if he wasn't a genius, he wouldn't be in the position he is today.
And if John McCain wasn't losing his marbles, a moron, or both-- Well, let's just say that No one in their right mind would have picked Sarah Palin and insulted every intelligent person on the planet.
Barack Obama came from nothing with all the odds stacked against him and he serves as a role model to everyone who wants to do something positive in the world. Not just anyone can be the president of The Harvard Law Review, not to mention the first one with dark skin, and not just anyone can be president of The United States.
But Barack Obama can.
He's the right man for the job, and especially the time, and I wouldn't be surprised if he's given the opportunity to run for a third term 8 years from now. But I have an inner fear that if John McCain somehow wins the election we might not even be having elections in 8 years.
Yes, Obama might get shot. But what's more likely, is that McCain will have an age appropriate death-- a heart attack, cancer, even a disabling case of Alzheimer's. And then what? This Barbie Doll of a candidate he's got next to him? It gives me chills down my spine.
But thinking of Obama as a beacon of light in the world-- Well, it makes everything feel just fine.

Too Little, Too Late
Whether it’s man made or
someone subjected you to fate
Sometimes it’s just too little, too late
No more room on your plate
Your cousin’s waitin for you up at the gate
In the last days just lookin for love
The time left is too short for hate
Don’t got a long while
Just wanna go out with a smile
But it’s too little, too late
Cousin Mike just put in a good word at the gate
And don’t let it be too little
Cause down here they're wrappin the package
Cause down here it’s already too late
And there's no return Date
....To everyone else--I'll see you at the gate
---It's too little, too late....
someone subjected you to fate
Sometimes it’s just too little, too late
No more room on your plate
Your cousin’s waitin for you up at the gate
In the last days just lookin for love
The time left is too short for hate
Don’t got a long while
Just wanna go out with a smile
But it’s too little, too late
Cousin Mike just put in a good word at the gate
And don’t let it be too little
Cause down here they're wrappin the package
Cause down here it’s already too late
And there's no return Date
....To everyone else--I'll see you at the gate
---It's too little, too late....

"I am not George Bush" -- The Debate, Part III
No, he's not George Bush. He's worse. Because at least G.W. had what it took to get himself elected. For months while Clinton and Obama were going at it, John McCain could've been out there locking down his home turf.. but he didn't. He coasted. And now Barack is moving in on his territory, strong-arming republican strong-holds. And while at least while G.W. picked a war monger who was smart enough to be an asshole and get away with it, John McCain instead picked some nitwit from Alaska that probably cost him the election-- or at least put the icing on the cake. I feel personally offended by Palin, and McCain for picking her. And I predict that if in fact they DO get elected-- there will be riots in the streets. Mark my words. And Not because of the old-man, or the tragedy it would have took for them to get there-- just because, IT'S ENOUGH ALREADY. She's a joke, and THEIR WHOLE CAMPAIGN IS A CROCK. And if you can't see that, you're an asshole.

Colorblind
Technology has put our planet at a crossroads. We're either going to become a great society, or this whole planet is going down in flames. So I challenge you to step outside the box, and simply look back on it. Don't just look at the black and white in life, but instead refuse to be colorblind. When you look in the mirror, be honest about what you see. Don't run from the pain, but instead challenge it, and defeat it. Every problem has one, so find it's solution. Because you can either be a corporate slave, or a member of humanity. Either way, we're all going 6 feet under in the end. But how you get there, is up to You.
